Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 4, 2026

Viaduct is a native macOS app that converts Google Chrome extensions into native Safari Web Extensions. This policy explains what it does, and does not do, with your data.

The short version

Viaduct collects no personal data. All conversion happens locally on your Mac. Nothing about the extensions you convert, and nothing about you, is sent to us.

What runs on your Mac

When you convert an extension, Viaduct reads the extension files you point it at, transforms them, and signs and installs the resulting Safari extension, all on your machine, using Apple's own developer tools (Xcode) and a bundled copy of the Node.js runtime. The extension source, the converted output, and your signing identity never leave your Mac.

Data we collect

None. Viaduct has no analytics, no telemetry, no accounts, and no servers that receive your data.

Network access

Viaduct works offline for conversion. It may reach the network only to:

These requests contain no personal information about you.

Payments

Viaduct is free for your first two conversions. Pro is sold through Gumroad, which processes your purchase and payment details. We never see or store your payment information. Gumroad's handling of your data is governed by Gumroad's privacy policy.

Third parties

Aside from Gumroad for payment, Viaduct shares no data with third parties, because it collects none to share.

Children

Viaduct is a developer tool and is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date above.
